Small Plough Plane
closest in size to the classic Record #044 plane, the preferred size of the old-style plow planes.
6-5/8" long fence registers solidly to the workpiece and is through-drilled so you can add a wooden fence extension.
Asymmetric fence offers a comfortable grip.
Double guide rods and a collet locking system prevent racking.
Large brass knobs allow fence adjustment from flush to the blade to 1-1/2" offset.
Adjustable shoe controls depth of cut (max. 1/2" deep) and has relieved edges to avoid marking work.
Comes with a 1/4" wide lapped A2 steel blade;
Machined with a 45° blade bed, 9" long, 1-3/4 lb ductile cast iron with large wooden rear tote.
Made in Canada.
