Panasonic EY7540LN2S Lithium-Ion 14.4V Impact Driver
Panasonic launches its Cobalt Lithium-Ion impact
driver the EY7540.
With its incredibly light weight, impressive power
& run time its sure to be a fast seller.
Panasonics Cobalt Lithium-Ion batteries benefit
from a lower internal resistance (electrical loss) than
manganese lithium , which are the most widely
used lithium batteries.
High electrical efficiency lets cobalt lithium
batteries deliver greater output than manganese
lithium batteries.
Cobalt lithium batteries are also less prone to
increases in temperature than manganese lithium
batteries , helping to prevent shortening of service
life due to heat.
The overcharge prevention sensor fitted to
Panasonic Lithium drills works to prevent
overdischarging , discharge of the battery until
voltage falls below a minimum threshold,a
disadvantage of lithium ion cells.The system cuts
off power to the motor before the battery voltage
falls too low and flashes a warning lamp on the
tools control panel to notify the user.
protection sensor , the service life of a lithium-ion
battery can be degraded if the battery becomes to
hot during heavy use.A temperature sensor cuts off
power to the motor before the battery temperature
rises to a harmful level and flashes a warning lamp
on the tools control panel to notify the user.
Also fitted with Panasonis Brushless Motor &
Panasonic Electronic Switch , the life span of both
these items is about twice as long as conventional
motors & switches.
