This multi-function electronic angle measurer is a real gem of a tool, with applications in many areas of the construction business. The measuring range is 0-220°. It consists of a base unit which carries the electronics as well as a pair of levelling vials and a pivoting measuring arm. When the arm is extended the angle it makes with the base is indicated clearly on digital read-outs on both sides to the nearest ±0.1°. The vials allow variations from the vertical and the horizontal to be accurately measured. An additional feature is the built-in cornice angle cutting calculator which, at the touch of a button, produces the mitre and bevel cutting angles required when fitting cornices, or crown mouldings, into the corners of a room (either square or otherwise). Lastly, there is an extension piece supplied which fits on top of the measuring arm and allows acute angles to be measured. Full instructions are included. Taken all round this is an excellent piece of equipment which will make life easier for many a craftsman.
